Tracing and sharing family milestones and moments

Learn how to uncover your family's milestones and moments, weaving together the narrative that tells your family history story. We cater to ages five to 105!

The Canterbury Genealogy Society opens its doors and library to assist you in discovering or developing further your family's historical narrative, whether it be recent or long ago, within Canterbury or further afield.

Volunteers will be available to assist you with getting started or direct you to pursue enquiries. Focused talks by experienced genealogists, activities for children thinking about generations beyond their parents, and examples of how to capture and share your family's narrative will give you the inspiration to record your family's milestones and moments.

Our extensive library and computer resources will be available and friendly helpers on hand to answer questions.
