Tour de Canterbury is brought to you by Sport Canterbury in partnership with We Are Canterbury. Due to the current lockdown restrictions we thought we needed to bring a new challenge to our region !

The aim is to put on our region's colours and challenge your family, friends, and co-workers, to accumulate km's by walking, running, or biking while staying safe within your neighbourhoods. Submit your distance and time results every three to seven days and see how far you could travel across a map of Canterbury.

You can sign up today and get exercising. Entries will close on Thursday 14 May and then you have until Thursday 25 June to complete as many km’s as you can.

Work collectively with your group/bubble to accumulate km’s together.

  • 250 km
  • 1100 km

  • bike
  • all of the above 

Achievement emails will be provided for each milestone/stage you reach along with fun facts about the locations you have passed on the way.
