The 14th Great Ōtākaro Avon River Walk
Meet at New Brighton Pier to follow the Avon River to Hagley Park. Bring lunch, sunscreen, warm clothing if needed and sturdy footwear.
Grade: Intermediate.
Join us for the 14th annual Great Ōtākaro Avon River Walk as part of the Christchurch Walking Festival.
We will assemble at the New Brighton Pier at 10am and then follow the Otakaro Avon River to the Boat Shed Cafe, next to Hagley Park, at around 3pm.
Please bring your own lunch. Sturdy shoes and warm clothes, if needed.
All ages welcome. The event will happen, rain or shine.
