As the geographical position of the Philippines serves as a gateway to the East and to the West, Philippine culture has been influenced by other cultures through trade and colonization.

We will showcase an amalgamated Pamana (heritage) illustrating the various art forms that have been embedded into our culture.

We will explore our creativity as we express our history and culture through the shared dances, songs, music, food, language, national attire and artifacts that connect us or identify us with other migrants in the Christchurch community.

For this year's Christchurch Heritage Festival, the Philippine Culture and Migrants Services will support the project of the Christchurch City Council's Multicultural Strategy in connecting with the different migrants and the community's InCommom campaign in determining what other cultures have in common with the Philippine culture.
