Join us on Friday evenings this autumn to connect with others over tasty food and share in the cultures and cuisines of communities that call Ōtautahi home.
Try beloved and traditional kai from Nepal, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Palestine.
Not only is tasty, healthy kai on the menu at Share Kai and Kōrero, there's also the invitation to have a chat with others around the table with conversation nudges – "What's your go-to comfort food?", "Who taught you to cook?" and “What’s your most memorable meal?”.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free-friendly and halal meat options are available.
Join us to share kai and kōrero by the sea at the beautiful Mount Pleasant Community Centre.
Share Kai is about creating spaces where we can come together and connect meaningfully over a meal. All proceeds from Share Kai events are kept by the refugee and migrant background groups involved in our Share Kai Cooks Collective.
Would you like to volunteer and help us deliver these events? Contact us before 10 April.
Brought to you by Share Kai and Mount Pleasant Community Centre.
