Pool Party - Dive In Movie
Gather your friends and whānau for a Disney-inspired dive-in movie pool party complete with inflatables, ice cream and giveaways.
Kids of all ages (and kids at heart) can bounce, slip and slide on giant inflatables – we’ve got Disney and jungle-themed bouncy castles, an obstacle slide and a queen slide.
Bring your appetite because we’ve got a sizzlin’ sausage sizzle brought to you by Hurutini Student Council.
YCD are turning up the volume with an MC and DJ so you can get your groove on.
Then, from 2.45pm, be whisked away to a magical animated world – BYO popcorn and gather around the big screen to watch Disney’s Elemental.
Thanks to our sponsor Streets, we’ve got free ice creams to give away – get in quick before they run out.
We’ll be playing sweet tunes – so you can get your groove on.
Plus, prizes to be won with our scavenger hunt.
Pack your togs, towel and sunscreen and head on down for a great day out at Te Hāpua Halswell Summer Pool on Saturday 13 January from midday to 5pm – we’ll see you there.

Supervision of children:
- Children under five years old must be within arm’s reach and under constant supervision by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older in the pool at all times, who is wearing an orange wristband.
- Children between the ages of five and seven (inclusive) must be wearing a purple wristband and actively supervised by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or older, who is to be within the pool area at all times and able to provide immediate assistance.
- Children aged 8 to 11 years (inclusive) must have a responsible caregiver 16 years or older on site.
