Eric will show you around the exhibits and discuss what we have learned about the Moon since the Apollo landings, how New Zealand is preparing for future Moon missions, and what it would be like to live on the Moon in the future.

Eric is co-founder of Space Base, a charitable organisation helping New Zealand be involved in space projects. Eric is from the US and studied physics, astronomy, and space engineering.

He worked on the design of the International Space Station for NASA and has been involved with plans for several Moon missions.

On tour from Nelson Provincial Museum, 'Our Moon' is a hands-on exhibition where you can explore the past, present and future of our Moon.

Eric's tours are free to attend but spaces are limited so please register on the Canterbury Museum website if you'd like to come along.
