Ōtukaikino to Waimakariri River Loop

Join us for a walk of epic proportions following the Ōtukaikino Stream to the Waimakariri River.

Grade: Experienced.

Starting and finishing at the Groynes Regional Park, the walk follows the Ōtukaikino Stream to the Waimakariri River on a unique long-distance adventure. Meet at the Groynes swing bridge.

Participants must be fit enough to walk six hours and carry food etc.

No age limit, and no dogs are permitted on the walk. 

Bookings are required, with a maximum of 30 participants. No postponement date.

This is a joint walk, in conjunction with Christchurch City Council Regional Parks, Environment Canterbury and Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust.
