Merry Wives of Windsor hits the grassy Mound Lawn at Mona Vale for another Open-Air Summer Shakespeare of Comedy for all.
Another of Shakespeare's much-loved comedies, The Merry Wives of Windsor, has Falstaff up to his old tricks of wanting to woo two wives.
Unbeknownst to Falstaff, the two ladies are good friends and tell each other of Falstaff's advancements and so plot their own revenge. A very funny and hugely entertaining play.
With free, security-patrolled car parks, a state-of-the-art sound system, toilets on site and a food and beverage stall (you’re welcome to bring your own), this two-hour performance will have you laughing all the way.
Director Derek Doddington has cut the script, as he always does, to make the play as accessible as possible to all audiences. This will be a traditional and lavish production, performed by a stellar cast of professional and experienced actors, with live music.
