Walk description: Oma Oma is a welcoming walking and running group that brings together kaimahi (staff) and whaiora (those seeking well-being) to promote health, connection, and fun. Every Thursday at lunchtime, members of our hapori (community) take part in a 3km walk or run around the eastside, building fitness and friendships in preparation for this year’s Pae Ora event.
Participants and their dependants (children must be supervised) must take full responsibility for their safety, health, and equipment while navigating varied terrain across public and private routes, wearing sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing, and carrying essential supplies, including water, food, and sun protection.
