Volunteer Wikipedia editors will create or improve articles about Ōhinehou Lyttelton's archaeological heritage.
A community Wikipedia event to add information about significant Lyttelton archaeological sites to Wikipedia, facilitated by Dr Mike Dickison, Aotearoa Wikipedian at Large.
Christchurch Archaeology Project are providing information, publication, photographic and logistical support.
The editathon will be aiming to improve or create articles on: the Lyttelton Timeball Station, Grubb Cottage, Ōhinehou, Lyttelton Gaol, Albion Square and Magazine Bay, including the Torpedo Boat Museum.
The editathon will include a walking tour to selected sites, to photograph them.
Free event however booking is required.
