Join us as we return to the incredible Christchurch Botanic Gardens for Illuminate 2025.
This year, we’re back with a brand-new show full of brand-new interactive lighting installations, exciting new amusement rides, and a variety of delicious food trucks.
Enjoy a dazzling evening filled with entertainment. Grab a meal from our food trucks as you wander through the park, gazing at thousands of lights and engaging interactive features. Cap off your night with a thrilling ride on our brand new amusement attractions!
What's new this year?
- 2.35km of light features – that’s over 3,000 sparkling steps
- Brand-new themed zones, including dinosaurs, an underwater DJ area, and love in lights
- Mesmerising features like the pixel ball tunnel, spinning vortex, and expanded pond displays
- More roaming performers than ever – from fire dancers to LED stick men, even a talking robot head
- Thousands of extra up lights and fairy lights
- Exciting new rides and delicious new food offerings
