Join us for a guided walk and talk on our newly Mondayized  Anzac Day (observed), along the banks of the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River.

Learn about the ecological, cultural and historical journey on the old towpath of the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River.

On the way there are several points of interest including old wharf sites, the cut and barrage and some great areas of planting and bank restoration.

Meet opposite the Tannery, plenty of street parking available.

It is approximately 6km of mixed terrain (some flat, footpaths, bush walks).

Dogs are welcome, on a leash.

Prams may be tricky, but you're welcome to try.
