In this enriching talk, Margaux will uncover and discuss several of Kate Sheppard's possessions. Items will include Sheppard's dresses, held at Canterbury Museum, her locket, sewing box, books, and other intriguing objects, most of which are currently on display at Kate Sheppard House.

Margaux Warne studied Art History at the University of Canterbury and her research focuses on nineteenth-century art. She presents regular talks at Christchurch Art Gallery.

Limited parking is available on the street, please allow extra time for parking during the university term time. Try the University of Canterbury's pay-and-display Clyde car park on Arts Road (5-minute walk), or take bus 100 or 120, which both have stops outside on Clyde Road.
