Drama Workshop – The Promise of Dragons
Explore the story of Avis and the Promise of Dragons with author Heather McQuillan and Storybox Drama! A creative drama experience for children aged 7 to 10.
What would you do if you were asked to look after a small mythical creature? Could you keep a promise you made with a dragon?
Bring your imaginations and discover your answers to these questions!
Students will be guided through a process drama workshop, stepping into the main character’s shoes, to help her work through her big chocolatey dragonish problem.
We'll work together to shape the story, playfully exploring this imaginary world through drama and music.
The workshop wraps up with an exciting chance to ask the author questions about the story!
