Discover Historic Wigram - Tour
Learn all about the fascinating history of Wigram as the birthplace of military aviation with a tour of the air base which once housed more than 2,500 people.
The Air Force Museum of New Zealand is located at the former Wigram air base. During this special tour, you'll hear about RNZAF personnel who lived and worked on the base and encounter original buildings dating back to the early 1900s.
Guided tours, free (under 12yrs, Tour & Booklet), $10.00 (12yrs+ Tour & Booklet). Booking required.
While you are at the museum catch the free documentary, no booking required. Runs 11th to14th October, 16th to 27th October, daily 9.30am-4pm (loop play).
