Join us at Ferrymead Heritage Park for a chance to explore this wonderful slice of our local history.
The park features an early 1900s Edwardian township with a variety of restored cottages, a school house, church and businesses, which reflect the period and allow visitors to experience what life would have been like for the early residents of Christchurch.
There will be a special talk about the history of the area followed by a chance to explore the park under your own steam.
If you would like to ride the tram, tickets can be purchased on the day at the additional cost of $5.50 per person.
Please BYO lunch or purchase snacks onsite from the park shop.
If you would like to carpool from the WEA please contact the office.
