Founded in 1985, master director Virginia Humphrey-Taylor has grown the Christchurch City Chorus into Australasia’s leading female a cappella group. Recently returned from placing fifth in the world at the International Sweet Adelines Competition in Kansas City, the Chorus remains dedicated to enriching the lives of its members and the community through friendship, education, and barbershop musical excellence.
