This free experience invites you to explore New Zealand mountaineer and explorer Sir Edmund Hillary’s Antarctic hut through virtual reality.
Developed in partnership with Auckland University of Technology (AUT), this experience allows you to step inside Sir Ed’s hut and find out what life was like living in the world’s most extreme environment.
In addition to this, there are a variety of cool museum hunts on offer over the October school holidays, which are a fun way to explore Antarctic-themed Air Force stories around the museum (additional charge applies).
