Grade: Experienced – Hills and challenging terrain; good fitness required.

Walk from the Adventure Park Village and head uphill, past the regenerating pine forest damaged in the fires. The track is a mixture of single track and 4WD roads. From the top, there are spectacular views from Kaikōura to Mt Hutt and beyond.

Head down via the chairlift for free. Walk duration 1.5 hours. Warm clothing and drinking water are recommended. Children must be at least 1 meter tall to use the chairlift.  Limited to 20 people per group. 

Participants and their dependents (children must be supervised) must take full responsibility for their safety, health, and equipment covering the route, wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing, and carry essential supplies, including water, food, and sun protection.
