2026 Christchurch Walking Festival - Botanic Gardens
The Friends of the Botanic Gardens are offering a guided 90-minute walk at the Botanic Gardens every day of the Walking Festival.
The Friends of the Botanic Gardens are offering 90-minute walks every day of the Walking Festival. We will leave from outside the Kiosk (just over the bridge from the Armagh Street Gardens car park.
This general interest walk around the whole gardens will be led by our highly trained guides from The Friends of the Botanic Gardens.
The walks are suitable for:
- people in wheelchairs or those pushing buggies
- are of interest to anyone who enjoys gardens
- people who would like to increase their walking ability in an easy environment
- who would like to learn more about our Botanic Gardens
The walks will happen whether sunny or raining.
