Temporary Road Closures for Lyttelton Farmers Market and Te Pae Ceremonial Opening

The Council has approved the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.

Lyttelton Farmers Market

Roads to be closed:

  • London Street, between Canterbury Street and Oxford Street

Periods of closure:

  • from 7.30am to 2.00pm every Saturday from 22 January 2022 to 24 September 2022

Te Pae Ceremonial Opening Event

Roads to be closed:

  • Oxford Terrace, between Armagh Street and Gloucester Street
  • Gloucester Street, between Cambridge Terrace and Oxford Terrace 

Periods of closures:

  • From 12pm to 7pm Friday 17 December 2021

 


These closures are to be made under paragraphs 11(e) and 11(d) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. These closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles, and vehicles directly involved with the event.

No resident access will be available during the period of these closures.
