The Council has received applications for the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.

From 4.45pm to to 10.00pm Friday, 26 July 2019

And from 6.00pm to 10.00pm Saturday, 27 July 2019

A Rain day contingency is proposed to be from 6.00pm to 10.00pm Sunday, 28 July 2019.

 

Hereford Street

From 88 Hereford Street to Cambridge Terrace

Proposed period of closure

From 6.00pm to 10.00pm Friday, 26 July 2019

And from 6.00pm to 10.00pm Saturday, 27 July 2019

A Rain day contingency is proposed to be from 6.00pm to 10.00pm Sunday, 28 July 2019

From 8.00pm to 12.00 Midnight Saturday, 20 July 2019                                           

These closures are proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974.  The proposed closure will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles directly involved with the event, Christchurch tramways vehicles and public transport services.

 Any person who wishes to object to the proposed closures may do so in writing to the Council Secretary, Christchurch City Council, PO Box 73016, Christchurch, no later than 9 am on Wednesday 12 June, 2019.
