The Council has received an application for the temporary closure of the following roads, for the following event, on the date and times shown below.
Roads proposed to be closed
- Jack Hinton Drive from Whiteleigh Avenue to Twigger Street.
- Twigger Street from Lincoln Road to Jack Hinton Drive.
Proposed period of closure
- From 3pm to 7pm Sunday 19 May 2024.
These closures are proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. The proposed closure will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles and vehicles directly involved with the event. No resident vehicular access will be available during the period of the proposed closure.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed closure may do so in writing to the Council Secretary, Christchurch City Council, PO Box 73016, Christchurch, no later than 3pm on Friday, 26 April 2024.
