The Council has received applications for the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on
the dates and times shown below.

Jack Hinton Drive - from Whiteleigh Ave to Twigger Street
Twigger Street - from Lincoln Road to Jack Hinton Drive

From 1pm to 7pm Saturday, 19 August 2023
From 10:30am to 5pm on Sunday, 27 August 2023
From 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, 17 September 2023
From 1pm to 11pm on Saturday, 23 September 2023
When possible and safe to do so the above closures of Twigger Street will be reopened during matches to allow residents access, when attendees are not actively arriving or leaving the venue.
These closures are proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. The proposed closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles,
scheduled public transport and vehicles directly involved with the events.
No resident access will be available during the period of these proposed closures.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed closure may do so in writing to the Council Secretary, Christchurch City Council, PO Box 73016, Christchurch, no later than 5pm Thursday, 27 July 2023
