Plan changes 13 and 14

Resource Management Act 1991. Christchurch District Plan - Further submissions invited proposed Plan Change 14 - housing and business choice and proposed Plan Change 13 - heritage.

Christchurch City Council has prepared proposed changes to our District Plan that affect the development allowed in the city, and that affect sites and areas proposed to be protected for their heritage values. These are Plan Change 14 (PC14 Housing and Business Choice) and Plan Change 13 (PC13 Heritage).

We have received submissions on PC14 and PC13 and the council has prepared a summary of the decisions requested in those submissions. That summary is now available and, together with the submissions, can be viewed online at ccc.govt.nz/pc14(external link) and ccc.govt.nz/pc13(external link).

We are inviting further submissions from persons who meet the requirements below, in support or opposition to a submission received by the Council. Further submissions must be received by 11.59pm on Monday, 17 July, being no later than ten working days from the date of this notice.

Requirements

A further submission can only support or oppose an original submission listed in the summary. It is not an opportunity to make a new submission on matters not raised in the submissions. If you make a further submission you must serve a copy of it on the original submitter within five working days of you providing the further submission to the council.

The following persons may make a further submission on the proposal:

  • the local authority, Christchurch City Council
  • any person representing a relevant aspect of the public interest; and
  • any person that has an interest in the proposed plan greater than the interest that the general public has.
