Surf schools are popular with local schools and the general public in Christchurch. Two schools have operated successfully from Scarborough Beach Sumner for a number of years. The Council is considering granting new licences for two schools and is interested to hear from any party interested in operating a surf school providing supervised surf lessons to groups and individuals and equipment hire. Two licences are available.
