Proposed temporary road closures: Fast Five International Track Meet, Sea2Sky Sumner 2023, Single FinMingle 2023, and Lincoln University Graduation Parade

The Council has received applications for the temporary closure of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.

Fast Five - International Track Meet

Road proposed to be closed

McMahon Drive from Aidenfield Drive to Nga Puna Wai South west entrance

Mariposa Cres – Entire length

Rosario Place – Entire length

Donovan place – Entire length

Proposed Period of Closure

From 10:30am to 12:30pm 19 February 2023

Sea2Sky Sumner 2023

Road proposed to be closed

Summit Road from Mount Pleasant Road to Godley Head Car Park cattle stop

Proposed Period of closure

From 8am to 11am Sunday 12 March 2023

Single FinMingle 2023

Road proposed to be closed

Nayland Street

Proposed period of closure

From 8am to 11:30pm 1 April 2023

Lincoln University Graduation Parade

Road proposed to be closed

Worcester Boulevard from Montreal Street to Cambridge Terrace

Proposed Period of closure

From 9:20am to 9:50am and

From 1:20pm to 1:50pm Friday 12 May 2023

These closures are proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. The proposed closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles and vehicles directly involved with the event.
No access will be available to vehicles, other than those listed above, during the period of these proposed closures.

Any person who wishes to object to the proposed closure may do so in writing to the Council Secretary, Christchurch City Council, PO Box 73016, Christchurch, no later than 9am Friday 27 January 2023.
