Site investigation methodologies are detailed elsewhere in the UKWIR Guidance for the Selection of Water Supply Pipes to be used in Brownfield Sites document.
Since UKWIR published the Guidance in 2010, a supplementary guidance protocol has been produced by Water UK in collaboration with some UK water companies and the Home Builders Federation.
