Details
- The work will be carried out across different stages to reduce the traffic and access impact
- Brougham Street will remain open at all times
- Traffic management restrictions and detours will be in place (one-way closure and road closures) on Selwyn Street and Somerset Crescent. Please follow all temporary signage
- All businesses located near the work area will remain open and signs will show how to access the shops and where to park
- The work may result in increased dust, noise and vibrations. We will try to keep any disruption to a minimum
- There may be times when vehicle access to properties is temporarily restricted. The contractor will contact residents beforehand to allow the movement of vehicles if necessary.
Stage one
The first stage of works will take about five weeks and involve installing new concrete pipes on Brougham Street (east side of the intersection) and on Somerset Crescent.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
