As part of the Sumner Village Upgrade, paved concrete crossings were installed in a few locations through the Village. Quality checks post-construction have highlighted that two of the crossings are not performing as expected and have slumped and shifted. The contractor will be coming back to re-lay the affected areas to ensure that they last for many years to come.
As the pavers require uplifting and the area re-levelled before the pavers can be relaid, traffic will be under stop/go during the daytime.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
