What

Lower Heathcote River LDRP 527: dredging work is moving to Fifield Terrace.

Why

When

From 20 July 2020 for approximately 6 weeks.

Contact

The contractor is Citycare. Phone 027 215 2224 between 7am to 7pm. Advise us if you have specific property access requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, planned works.

Dredging of the final 200m of the river downstream of Beckford Road will be undertaken by Citycare between July and August 2020. Traffic management will be in place to make a safe area for trucks to be loaded.

As well as sediment removal, the work involves eel relocation ahead of the works and water quality monitoring. Most of the time dredging will occur Tuesday to Friday but other works including fishing and establishment may occur outside these times.
