- There will be an increase in vehicle movements in the area during the time of construction
- During this path renewal construction period, pedestrians will be directed and required to use an alternative footpath route
- There will be a moderate increase in noise and activity in this area of South Hagley Park during this construction process
- There will be two construction access points into the site. One location will be at the entrance to the Netball Centre carpark and the other will be off Deans Avenue
- Spotters will be on site to assist pedestrians during all vehicle movements in and out of the construction site
- The site will be fully fenced to create a safe working space for the contractor and to act as a separation barrier to the public
- A CCC approved arborist will be on site at all times to monitor the excavation activities and to advise the contractor during this construction process
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
