Dear Resident,
City Care Civil has been contracted by the Christchurch City Council to upgrade Te Ara a Rongo / Gloucester-Worcester Park, between Gloucester Street and Worcester Street.
Work will involve a new footpath connecting Worcester St to Gloucester St, new landscaping, tables, seats and a nature play area.
Work time is 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday. Some work may be required outside of this time, but will be minimal.
We advise that the park will be completely closed during the work period.
Some noise is likely in the form of construction vehicles such as excavators, trucks and compaction equipment.
There are vehicle crossings on each street for access to the park. Please do not park in front of them or on them as we need this for access.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our project manager, Barry Templeton, who is overseeing this work.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Regards
City Care Civil.
