  • Fulton Hogan will be completing Hydro Excavation investigation works from 1-25 Port Hills Road and 41-49 Port Hills Road.
  • Hydro Excavation is the science of digging with water. We'll be using high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum to remove soil. The soil will be transferred to a debris tank to keep mess to a minimum. This is a safe, non-destructive and  accurate way to remove soil and locate underground utilities, such a pipes, electrical cables and phone lines.
  • Traffic will restricted during the works. A priority give way will be in place from 1-25 Port Hills Road and a road closure will be in place between 41-49 Port Hills Road. Residential access will be limited during working hours but pedestrian access will be open at all times.
  • This work is expected to take approximately 3 days to complete.
