- Fulton Hogan will be completing Hydro Excavation investigation works from 1-25 Port Hills Road and 41-49 Port Hills Road.
- Hydro Excavation is the science of digging with water. We'll be using high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum to remove soil. The soil will be transferred to a debris tank to keep mess to a minimum. This is a safe, non-destructive and accurate way to remove soil and locate underground utilities, such a pipes, electrical cables and phone lines.
- Traffic will restricted during the works. A priority give way will be in place from 1-25 Port Hills Road and a road closure will be in place between 41-49 Port Hills Road. Residential access will be limited during working hours but pedestrian access will be open at all times.
- This work is expected to take approximately 3 days to complete.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
