- Following on from work undertaken just after Easter, the second stage of this work is due to occur during the July school holidays, commencing Friday 5 July 2019.
- None of this is planned to require night time work, however signage will remain in place 24 hours a day.
- Commencing Friday 5 July 2019, one of the southbound lanes on Main North Road will be closed and remain closed until 7.00am on Monday 22 July 2019. During this time, a deep manhole will be built over the trunk sewer line in Main North Road.
- After the manhole is built, a short trench will be extended east along Prestons Road back to where trenching work stopped in November 2018. This work will commence on 22 July 2019 and take approximately three (3) weeks.
- During this time, a one way system for eastbound traffic on Prestons Road will be in place.
- Westbound traffic will again be detoured via Daniels Road.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
