- Owing to the number of services and the position of them, the new watermain needs to be placed in the middle of a traffic lane for part of its length. The road will be one way past the works to allow the pipeline to be laid.
- It is expected that some rock will need to be excavated to lay the pipeline. Progress will be slow if a great amount of rock needs to be excavated.
- Traffic management will be installed to keep both the workers and road users safe. Please be aware that a reduced speed limit will be in place going through the site.
- Access to properties will be maintained using steel plates where required. On road parking will be limited during the works.

- There will be a water shut off when the new mains are connected over. You will receive a water shut off notice with a time when this is known.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
