Information: St Albans, Edgeware and Mairehau Area - Road Impacts Update - 29 October 2020

Last updated: 29 Oct 2020

Why

This page has been created to give an overview of impacts on the road network as a result of the projects that are part of a package of roading changes designed to help mitigate the impacts of the extra traffic that is likely to travel through those suburbs when the CNC opens, along with continued wastewater renewals work.

This is limited to road closures, one-way systems, lane drop or significant works causing delays and two-way traffic maintained by traffic signals.

Due to wastewater renewals and improvement works the below road configurations are currently in place in the St Albans, Edgeware and Mairehau area.

  • Cranford St is reduced to 30 km/h with narrowed lanes
  • Edgeware Rd at the intersection with Barbadoes St is currently operating under a temporary roundabout
  • Warrington St at the intersection with Forfar St is reduced to 30 km/h with narrowed lanes
