Peak hour bus priority lanes are going to be installed on Cranford Street between Innes Road and Berwick Street on a trial basis. The trial will last for three months.

The bus lanes will operate at peak times in both the city-bound and north-bound directions. This mean there will be changes to the parking:

  •  In the morning peak, there will be no parking on the east side, city-bound lane, of Cranford Street between 7am and 9am.
  • In the evening peak, there will be no parking on the west side, northbound lane, of Cranford Street between 4pm and 6pm.
  • On-street parking is permitted in some areas of the bus lane outside of the morning and afternoon travel peaks.

The bus lane restrictions will be enforced during the trial and fines for parking or driving in the bus lane can be issued.

We will monitor how the bus lanes operate during the trial and would like your feedback during this time.
