Head to Head: Sandy Beach Road to Jetty Road |
Due to safety concerns, a bridge on the coastal walkway between Sandy Beach and Governors Bay is being replaced. While works are underway, a low-tide bypass route has been created along the foreshore. Please note this is impassable for 1 to 2 hours on either side of high tide. Heading south during high tide, depart from the coastal track at Sandy Beach Road and walk along the Main Road footpath before descending back to the Governors Bay jetty area, approximately 1km before rejoining the coastal route. Heading north during high tide, head away from the coast at Jetty Road. Works will run until the end of June 2024. |
