Spirited Cemetery Tours - Rutherford Street (Woolston) Cemetery

Join local historian Richard Greenaway on a tour of the historic grave sites of Canterbury citizens.

At Rutherford Street (Woolston) Cemetery visit the graves of C. S. Howell founder of former trotting grounds Plumpton Park, James Penfold of cob cottage fame, and provincial government kingmaker John Ollivier and his son.

Rutherford Street is a busy street. There is parking on roadside and a traffic island in the middle of the road near the cemetery. 

Meet by the information board.
