Proposed Temporary Road Closures

The Council has received applications for the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.

SUMMIT ROAD HILL CLIMB

Between Evans Pass Road and Mount Pleasant Road

Proposed Period of Closure

From 9am to 6pm 26 August 2018

 

MITRE 10 CUP 2018

Jack Hinton Drive

Between Whiteleigh Avenue and Twigger Street

Proposed Periods of Closure

From 12:05pm to 5:30pm 25 August 2018

From 5:35pm to 11pm 6 September 2018

From 2:05pm to 8pm 16 September 2018

From 12:05pm to 5:30pm 30 September 2018

From 5:35pm to 11pm 6 October 2018

The following closures will potentially be required, depending on competition rankings.

From 5:35pm to 11pm 19 October 2018

From 12:35pm to 6pm 20 October 2018

From 3:05pm to 8:30pm 20 October 2018

From 5:35pm to 11pm 20 October 2018

From 5:35pm to 11pm 27 October 2018

From 3pm to 4.35pm and 6pm to 7pm 16 September 2018

From 12:30pm to 2.05pm and 3:30pm to 5pm 30 September 2018

From 6pm to 7:35pm and 9pm to 10:30pm 6 October 2018

The following closures will potentially be required, depending on competition rankings.

From 6pm to 7:35pm and 9pm to 10:30pm 19 October 2018

From 1pm to 2:35pm and 4pm to 5:30pm 20 October 2018

From 3:30pm to 5:05pm and 6:30pm to 8pm 20 October 2018

From 6pm to 7:35pm and 9pm to 10:30pm 20 October 2018

From 6pm to 7:35pm and 9pm to 10:30pm 27 October 2018

 

These closures are proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974.

The proposed closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles and vehicles directly involved with the running of the event.
