News and media enquiries

It is important to us that we keep people informed about what is happening at the Council and within our community.

News

It is important to us that we keep people informed about what is happening at the Council and within our community.

We do this through sharing stories, photos and videos on Newsline (external link)– our online news platform. It is updated on an almost daily basis and is the best place to find the latest Council news and announcements.

Each Friday we email out a newsletter featuring the main news from the week. Sign up to receive your newsletter.(external link)

News feed

We offer a free news feed so you can easily keep up to date with our latest news.

When you subscribe to our news feed you'll be able to quickly see summaries of new Council information in one place. Your feed reader will alert you when Council news is available to read.

Newsline: https://ccc.govt.nz/contact-us/about-this-site/feeds/newsline(external link)

You will need to ensure you have a feed reader installed on your PC or device. A range of different feed readers are available and new versions are appearing all the time. Check your internet browser (e.g. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari) to see if there is a feed reader add-on or extension available.

You may use our news feeds in order to display Council content on your website, blog or other product or service for personal and business use provided you comply with our terms of use.
