Recreation and sport centres
Welcome to Christchurch City Council’s recreation and sport centres.
The centres are located throughout Christchurch to ensure there is a centre near you.
Our staff will help motivate and support you towards achieving your health and fitness goals. We realise that individuals have varied aims and interests, so we provide a range of accessible aquatic and dry services and programmes across our facilities where you can select the best fit to suit your needs.
The Christchurch City Council operates the following recreation and sport centres:
- QEII Park Recreation and Sport Centre
- Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre
- Jellie Park Recreation and Sport Centre
- Centennial Recreation and Sport Centre
- Graham Condon Recreation and Sport Centre (Due for opening mid 2010)
- Cowles Stadium
- Lyttelton Recreation Centre
- Akaroa Sports Complex.
